Role DescriptionAs Business Development Manager you are responsible for generating sales and ensuring continuous business growth within Europe. Working from home, (close to an airport) you will be actively engaging with both internal and external stakeholders. Internal stakeholders include professionals such as the proposal developer and project developer. External stakeholders may vary from prospects and returning customers within Europe. Together with your direct colleague you will be responsible to guide to sales process from prospection to contract negotiation. You will report to the Senior Director Business Development Europe.
Responsibilities- Create, in cooperation with your direct colleague and the Senior Director Business Development an annual sales strategy - Market research to identify and qualify potential and existing key customers - Prospection by targeting clients with the right frequency of calls, meetings and follow-up e-mails - Decide which conferences to attend - Meet annual sales targets - Discuss client needs with Project Managers to ensure the right custom made offer
Requirements- BSc/BA in healthcare/life sciences - Minimum of 3 years experience, preferably working for a CRO in a commercial role - Proven track record of generating business growth - Willing and able to travel frequently (50%) within Europe - Strong commercial mindset with great communicative skills
