Role DescriptionAs Supply Planner or Warehouse Replenisher you are responsible for managing our stock in the Central Warehouses in the Netherlands. In this matter you are directly responsible for a healthy stock level and an optimal stock availability. This versatile feature you liaise between Offer Management Dept., Supply Chain Dept., Stores, Central Warehouses and Suppliers. In this position you have the freedom to act within your own described profile and are subjected to the aligned stock and availability targets. You work in teams in an international environment to reach short & long term performance goals and solve daily operation issues. You also build and sustain daily, weekly and monthly operational processes.
ResponsibilitiesOrder Management: • Manage and monitor the Central Warehouse stock position in quantity and quality • Understands the trade-off between logistic costs, stock levels and product availability • Judge and adjust the order proposals from the automatic ordering system and place the order at the supplier • Check the delivery for completeness and timeliness. Contact supplier in case of misdeliveries • Steer daily on shortages and excessive stock and initiate follow-up action plans with the stakeholders. Define the root cause • Phase in/out of products and manage supplier changes • Monitor stock developments and maintain master data for purchasing in an ERP system (Safety Stocks, Supplier Data, Material Data) • Monitor stock levels of the Vendor-managed Inventory suppliers and contact these suppliers in case of shortages and overstocking • Support the achievement of efficient stock levels, preventing shortages, slow moving & obsoletes stocks by active customer and supplier involvement • Analyze “stock steeling” from stores and escalate to the Replenishment & Import Specialist to secure overall stock availability
Requirements• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Economics or Business Engineer with focus on Supply Chain Management; • 1-5 years’ experience in Planning in Fast Moving Consumer Goods industries; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or work experience • Logistics experience will be a plus • Strong MS Office skills. Able to create documents, spreadsheets, graphs, presentations and project schedules • Excellent problem solving and communication skills • Excellent Dutch and English skills (German would be a plus) • Strong service orientation towards internal and external customers
