Role DescriptionYou will work within the R&D department, with colleagues on the spot as well as other international locations, to develop new flavors. For this, you gather trend information, engage suppliers to find the right ingredients, contribute to improvement research projects. Sensory evaluations are also part of the process.
Responsibilities- Identifying the ideal sensory profile and adjusting the products to fit this - Keeping up with market trends and expecting the unexpected - Developing cutting-edge flavors for industry clients - Work from a lab scale to an upscaled production - Collaborate with QA for approvals
Requirements- MSc Food Science or similar - 3+ years of field experience with flavors - Good sense of taste and smell - Strong communication skills - Precise, creative way of working
