Role DescriptionIn this position you will be responsible for the execution of commercial packaging & labeling activities: plan, arrange, execute packing & labeling activities in designated CMO sites. Ensure objectives are met, using KPI reporting, analysis and communication on the status of the various activities with the CMO’s. Primary serialization subject matter expert (SME) for all service and technical related activities. In addition, the function will coordinate with several stake holders, Tech Ops, Artwork team, Global logistics, Regulatory, Qualified Person (QP) and ensuring commercial supply to our 3PL for all European customers
ResponsibilitiesEnsure packing activities are executed for continuous flow of finished goods to the 3PL’s Primary serialization subject matter expert (SME) for all technical and service related activities Ensure all necessary components, products and documentation are in place to support the packaging & labeling plan. Coordinate SAP activities: good receipt, STO, PO creation, inbound supply and inventory reconciliation. Manage associated costs and approve payments on vendor invoices Reporting and managing Inventory levels, KPI Reporting and PO planning Work with suppliers importing goods into the EU to ensure correctness of import documents and support logistical shipments from CMO’s to testing laboratory Ability to confidently address upper management with accurate, timely status updates on serialization and on related packing activities Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the packing & operations processes and procedures (e.g. SOP’s, WI & FRM’s, services, efficiency, costs)
RequirementsAbility to engage with stakeholders at all levels across the organization Effective verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers Customer focused and high level of integrity. High level understanding of Pharmaceutical or Biologics industry combined with new product introduction Entrepreneurial mindset is a plus Good understanding of the various elements of Supply Chain Experience in Import/Export related activities and Trade compliance Ability to work in a multicultural and fast changing business environment Pro-active and problem solving mentality Able to follow up on feedback to ensure positive outcomes Fluent in English, an additional language would be preferred Strong planning, analytical and organizational skills Knowledge on serialization impacts and regulations Proficient in interpreting/assessing technical documentation (e.g. EPCIS GS1 standards, vendor configuration documents) and in maintaining related internal documentation (User Requirements, Master Data, Configuration Specifications) User knowledge of SAP
