Role DescriptionThe lead technologist – processing has the main responsibility to ensure that existing and new technologies are utilized in the most effective way to safeguard highest quality standards. In his/her regional role, the candidate will support leading innovations and renovation with his/her strong background in processing and project leadership. This is an exciting role that gives a unique opportunity to work across a broad range of different product categories and as well learn from other disciplines in the team which includes processing, packaging, and digital, etc.
Responsibilities- To develop new or improve existing processes around dressings technologies in line with project requirements and RD initiatives - To ensure all technical claims will not be impacted by the process & able to propose improvements in case special claims via process modification is required - To implement newly developed products / processes together with equipment suppliers following d-HACCP principles and technical risk assessment - To ensure process flow diagram of all dressings products are available in the system for current products and is created in case of new projects - To conduct experimental studies on specific technical challenges in product design using design of experiments - To drive and execute SC led projects that will involve machine changes and updates including technology transfer - To ensure Capex and BIC requirements are planned & implemented - To ensure all trial reports are available & completed in system such as PROMPT - To share and train other technologists who are responsible for implementation of projects in sourcing units - To ensure support in case of core process (cpd) design requires food solutions input and also able to propose a new (cpd) when relevant - To maintain awareness of competitor and supplier position in area of expertise. - To support with technical information in case of need to protect technology/formulation
Requirements- Bachelor/Master in Food Technology, Food Science, Engineering or other simular field - Experience in designing & updating technology preferably with understanding of food ingredients & packaging materials - Setting up design of experiments and running tests - With experience on recipe implementation & working with SU - Independently being able to lead renovation projects - With experience on dry /pasty formulation & processing technologies - Compliance & Claim Assessment - Technical Risk Assessments
