Role DescriptionThe main responsibility of the Compliance Officer is to be the advisor and key contact for providing close support on EBI related topics for our commercial affiliate across several sites and offices within Belgium

ResponsibilitiesIdentifies the risks areas and domains of potential vulnerabilities, inefficient or ineffective processes and cross-Global Business Unit
Ensures that the local implementation of global policies/ standards/best practices is done timely and appropriately in compliance with local regulations
Steers and measures the efficacy of the EBI program in order to identify its strengths and areas of improvements, being able to recommend and follow action plans
Works closely with local management for designing and implementing corrective actions in order to solve deviation and deficiencies
Provides advises in support to the business and global functions for ensuring appropriate decision making regarding their projects and initiatives.
Reports potential violations of laws, regulations, rules, policies and Company’s procedures

RequirementsMSc degree or higher in a relevant discipline (biosciences, law, human health, engineering);
Around 5-7 years in the pharmaceutical industry with commercial exposure and a minimum of 2 years in an EBI or Compliance department;
Previous experience in a Belgian/GDL multi-cultural environment;
Languages: Excellent command both verbally and written of: Flemish, French and English is a must;
High energy, tenacity and patience.
High tolerance of ambiguity, very strong personal integrity and high ethical standards;
Very good communication capabilities / strong team spirit, interpersonal and networking skills;
