Role DescriptionWithin this role, you are responsible for managing the key accounts regarding foods and beverages. You actively approach new clients and maintain relations with old ones, so a strong and assertive personality is important. Another must is the ability to function individually, taking responsibility and balancing tasks, as well as within a team. To coordinate the communication between the client and many teams of colleagues, you have a level head and good people skills.
Responsibilities• Managing key accounts as well as sourcing new clients in the food & beverage industries • Consequently, traveling in the Benelux forms an important part of the job • Developing tailor-made, client-specific products and marketing approaches • Negotiating with clients on prizes, locations, terms and conditions • Coordinating the cooperation between the client, the product developers, category management and the market researchers • Pushing innovation • Keeping a close eye on client numbers and data • Following market development
Requirements• Bachelor or Master of Science in Food Technology or similar. A technical study is a must. • 3 years of experience in Food and Beverage B2B Sales • English and Dutch, both written and spoken, are a must! French and German are extra’s. • Excellent grasp of all Microsoft Office programs • Analytical, communicative personality, focused on the client and performing well within a team • Ability to work independently, to set targets and prioritize between tasks
