Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Netherlands.

Our client is an International provider company in the dairy industry. They market and distribute products and ingredients and is one of the world leaders. Because of the growth in the company they are looking for a new accountmanager for the International market.


In this commercial role you will be working in one specific part of the world. New business development and building on existing clients are the two main responsibility's on a daily basis. Most of the time you will be working out of the office in The Netherlands. 25% of your time you will be traveling, you will be abroad for 7 days in a row. You are the sales professional who will sell the dairy ingredients to the B2B clients and build on a long term relation.

In this accountmanager position you will be responsible for creating new business and build on existing client relations in these country's. By yourself or with another colleague you will travel to these country's and will be abroad for one week. To be successful in your role you need to understand the French language and the different cultures. To sell the products you need to have some knowledge in Dairy or other food specific products. The time you spend in Holland you will work on your relations from out of the office en will work with a team of 5. You will report all your results to the Sales Manager.


- You will have a bachelor or master degree. A study like business administration or sales marketing will be a plus. Food technological is also possible.
- You have at least 6 years of experience in an accountmanager position within the food industry
- Experience in dairy products is a big plus
- You are fluent in Dutch, English and French. (French B1 is the minimum)
- You have strong commercial skills.
- Teamwork is important for you. Achieving goals together with your team is more important then achieving your personal goals.
- You like to travel and discover different cultures. One week per month you will be abroad.
